Our Story

MARCH 21 2012

Laura and Adam meet for the first time at the icehockey arena Scandinavium - during the first period break between Frölunda-Brynäs in the fifth semifinal game of the playoffs. Frölunda looses the game in overtime and are sent on an early summer vacation.

Then what happened?

Spending more and more time together, Laura and Adam fell deeply in love. Adam wasnt scared of dating a single mum or put off by the responsibility that came with it, and quickly became an amazing dad to Hayley.

In 2014, Adam and Laura took the plunge and became "sambos", when they purchased their first little house together. A house that at first seemed quite big but quickly became filled with the sound of little feet. In January 2016, they welcomed their first son Alexander, and in October 2017, Oliver quickly joined the family making it complete.

As many of you know, staying in Sweden is not something they like to do for any length of time, and their passports are always at the ready! Whenever they have a few free days you can normally see them dashing to the airport to catch the next possible flight to Mallorca

Their first couples trip was to London, and their first family trip was to Mexico. They have also been lucky enough to visit Iceland, USA, Jamaica and Barbados.

Their first house

After 2,5 years togther, Adam and Laura decided it was time to take their relationship to the next level. After a little bit of house hunting, they found their first little house. A small brick semi detached house just outside of Gothenburg. A few days before Christmas, they got the keys and a new chapter began.

January 14th 2016

He asked - she said yes!!

Their first son was born very early on January 13th, and little did Laura know, that in their hospital bag, Adam had hidden a ring! The evening after Alexander was born, they were relaxing at home with some champagne and tapas- Laura went into the kitchen to get some water, and when she she came back into the living room, Adam placed the ring on the table in a beautiful box and asked Laura to marry him and Laura said yes!!!!
